Encaustic Monoprinting | June 28 | 9am - 4pm

This 1-day workshop introduces students to the process of creating one-of-a-kind prints by working directly on a heated palette with pigmented paint. Students will learn how to work into the prints with mixed-media elements, mount them onto panels, and skillfully embed them between layers encaustic medium + paint.

No prior encaustic experience is required to take this course.

Class size : 4 Students

Payment is due in full at the time of registration. Because of the limited number of students in a class, workshop fees are non-refundable.

Once you have registered and completed payment, you will receive your course confirmation and supply list (if applicable). Please let me know if you will need accommodations. There are a number of hotels in Amesbury and Newburyport, as well as AirBnB rentals in the area.

TERMS + CONDITIONS

Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements may be canceled, typically two to four business days before the class begins. Registered students will be notified and can be refunded in full, or enrolled in a future workshop.

Adults 18 or older may register  workshops. Students under 18 require special permission. Amy Vander Els reserves the right to cancel courses, change course times, and limit enrollment. The student agrees to abide by any and all rules of the studio. Amy Vander Els will assume no responsibility for any loss, personal or physical.

LOCATION + PARKING

Workshops are held at the Artists' Muse Studio, located at 9 Water Street (second floor-no elevator) in Amesbury, Mass. There is street parking out front and a free parking lot directly across the street.
