Small Business Saturday
The Artists’ Muse Studio will be open for Small Business Saturday!
Each year, communities across the country celebrate the Saturday after Thanksgiving as Small Business Saturday. In Amesbury, we go over and above to reward our friends who support our small businesses!
On Saturday, November 30th from 9AM - 5PM, you can visit Market Square in downtown Amesbury and enter for a chance to win this year's Shop Local Tree. This year's tree is full of hundreds of dollars in local business gift cards just waiting to be won by a special small business supporter. How do you enter? Simply show a print or digital receipt confirming a purchase made that day at a local business. The purchase can be from any business in Amesbury, Merrimac, or any other business that is a member of the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce.
Best part? There is no limit to the number of receipts you can present to enter (so visit as many shops as your Shop Local Heart desires!).
The first 40 people to enter will be gifted a Small Business Saturday tote bag chock full of information and goodies from local businesses and non-profits.
Thank you for supporting our small businesses!

This collection of still life and landscape paintings celebrates the arrival of spring, life renewed, life in full bloom. Life Still is a meditation on this anticipated and ephemeral season of awakening, hope and joy. These works by Amy and Marsha illustrate and honor the moments that they notice. That they know will pass. That they choose to keep alive.

NAA Art Symposium - Panel Discussion : Diversifying Income Streams
Panelists : Jeffrey Briggs, Rosalie Cuticchia, Ryan Kelley, Amy Vander Els
There are countless reasons why artists paint, sculpt, write, dance, sing. We love the process and the joy of the journey. However, we sometimes need to support our creative practice by finding alternative ways to sell our artwork. The panel will share ideas and resources to help you use your art to create alternative income streams.

NAA Art Symposium - Panel Discussion : Artist Marketing
Panelists: Rita Fucillo, Ryan Kelley, Rosalie Sidoti, Amy Vander Els
This panel discussion features a conversation about the business of being an artist and focuses on the artist marketing that is critical to professional practice. Our experienced panelists will be speaking on the subject from their varying perspectives, approaching the issues from the lenses of publishing, gallery representation, networking, and more. Questions from the audience will be an important aspect of the session. While every artist's approach to marketing their work and themselves is different, we do hope that participants will leave the session with nuggets of insight that they might incorporate into their own professional practice to develop this essential aspect of an artist's work.
